My app delivers local notifications via -[NSUserNotificationCenter deliverNotification:]. Everything works fine except 'Badge app icon'. I can't figure out how this is supposed to work. Is Notification Center supposed to badge my app icon automatically? Mac touchscreen apps 2016. How to get pages app on mac. Or is the app supposed to set the badge label manually? And if the latter, how do I know whether the user has checked 'Badge app icon' in Notifications System Preferences? I can't find any documentation on this. It seems to be decently documented for iOS, but there isn't much documentation for macOS, and the API for the two platforms is not quite the same.
